The image shows a forest floor covered with leaves in Russia’s Leningrad region.

At first glance, the forest scene may look peaceful, but a cunning creature is hiding in plain sight.

A poisonous viper can be seen slithering across the ground among the leaves in various stages of decomposition.

Snakes are known to hide in thick vegetation and foliage while stalking their prey.

The puzzle is particularly challenging given that viper scales closely resemble the colors of fallen leaves.

Only a person with the most eagle eye can spot the creature in less than 10 seconds.

So set the timer and keep your eyes open as you try to find the slithering snake.

If you’re struggling to locate a reptile, we can offer some helpful advice to guide you.

Focus your attention on the lower left corner of the picture, around the light green leaves.

If you move your gaze from the lower left corner to the upper right, you can notice a cold-blooded animal.

Anyone can see a tree, but you have 20/20 vision if you can see an animal hidden in its bark in 10 seconds

If you can decipher the dark brown scales of the creature, you can trace its impressive length to the middle of the image.

If you want to challenge yourself further, try to locate the lizard on this tree branch.

The scaly body of magaclina blends easily with the mossy bark of a tree.

However, his signature bulging eyes could be a giveaway if you manage to spot them.

As its name suggests, the leaf-tailed macaque is an expert at camouflage in trees.

As the lizard’s scales blend seamlessly with the moss-covered wood, those with exceptional eyesight will be able to see the animal.

If you look closely, you may be able to spot a reptile clinging to the underside of a branch.

Facing downward, the tail of the animal stretches towards the bend of the tree branch.

And if you want to try your hand at even more cryptic images, we have plenty to offer.
