But a post on Reddit’s Find The Sniper forum is a reminder that marine life can be very unpredictable.
“Find a turtle,” the user said, writing under the hashtag Butterkush93.
“Extra points if you can identify that bird for me.”
They shared a photo of a murky lake with rocks and grass easily visible, while the turtle was hidden in plain sight.
You will need x-ray vision to spot the animal in 14 seconds or less.
Thousands of people voted for the post as they challenged themselves to find the turtle.
Several puzzlers admitted they were confused and joked about being distracted by the bird.
“Is that a turtle dressed as a bird?” said one person.
“I’m busy watching the little idiot bird,” another interjected.
