MANY creatures have adapted to their environment over time, but none more so than this lizard.
If you can spot the camouflaged reptile in this cryptic image in less than 10 seconds, you may have the eyes of a hawk.

Aptly named, the leaf-tailed macaque can easily disguise itself in a nature scene.
The species is native to Madagascar and can usually be found in the tropical forests of the island.
At first glance, the Getty Image appears to show only a tree branch with a few leaves.
However, upon closer inspection, some eagle lovers might spot a macaclin camouflaged against the bark of a tree.
If you can find a lizard in less than 10 seconds, you might be extremely smart.
But don’t worry if you can’t locate the reptile, we can offer helpful tips to guide you.
Focus your attention on the lower right side of the branch and look through the animal’s telltale bulging eyes.
The lizard’s scaly body blends in easily with the mossy bark of trees.
However, if you look at the side of the branch, you might notice what looks like a piece of bark sticking out.
Right under your nose all the time, this part of the branch is actually a camouflaged lizard.
No one can count how many flamingos there are… but those with a high IQ can spot a ballet dancer among them in 8 seconds
If you still can’t spot the creature, focus your attention on the bottom of the branch.
The characteristic eyes of macaclins can barely be discerned on the bark of the branch.
Clinging to a tree with its head down, the lizard’s body stretches along the branch with its tail curling in a bend at the end.

If you want to challenge yourself even more, try to find a butterfly among the leaves.
The picture shows leaves scattered on the ground in various stages of decomposition.
Usually covered in bright colors and patterns, this butterfly’s wings are a similar shade to the surrounding foliage, making it even more difficult to spot.
While most of the leaves are dead, a living thing can barely be discerned as it rests among them.

It looks like just another brown leaf until you spot its antennae.
If you need a hint, look towards the bottom of the image, moving near the center.
A butterfly can be seen sitting on top of crisp leaves along the edge of the image.
And if you want to try your hand at even more optical illusions, we have plenty to offer.
