A PICTURE of a pile of stones in the Scottish Highlands has left many scratching their heads.
At first glance, the picture shows a pile of gray stones with white spots on them.

In reality, it is an optical illusion, and the bird is hidden somewhere among the rocks.
People who see a bird within a minute could have 20/20 vision.
The photo, taken by Belgian traveler Laurence Debailleul, was taken while climbing Ben Wyvis in north Inverness.
She noticed that there were birds in the rocks and tried to photograph them.
The end result is a picture that went viral that she believed had no birds.
“At first I heard the noise of the birds but I struggled to spot them – then I saw four of them blending into the background,” Laurence said.
“I took a few pictures hoping to catch one of them.
“As I was going through my photos from that day, I thought I had missed them, but just as I was about to hit delete, I noticed it.
“I was so surprised to see how well camouflaged the bird was.”
