Filming of the new season was originally supposed to begin in late summer or early fall. However, in June 2023. Diversity reported that “filming was delayed for two months due to the writers’ strike”.

Filming was originally supposed to take place at the Cité du Cinema studios, but since they have been booked for the Olympics since November, Emily in Paris will be recording at Monjoie Studios instead. All filming is prohibited in Paris due to the Olympic Games from June to September.
