Taylor Swift is entering a new musical era!
During the 2024 Grammy Awards, the “End Game” singer made a surprise announcement that she is releasing her eleventh studio album, during her acceptance speech for Best Pop Vocal Album for Midnight. (The win also marked her 13th Grammy Award, known as her lucky number.
During the speech, Swift thanked her fans for supporting her tenth album, Midnightand said she wants to repay them by telling them a secret she’s been keeping for two years: details about her brand new album.
Immediately after she left the stage, her social media accounts shared more information about the upcoming release, including the cover art, title Department for Tortured Poets, and the slogan, “All’s fair in love and poetry.”
The exciting news comes just hours after Swift sent fans into a frenzy by changing her social media profile pictures to black and white, leading many Swifties to believe she’s ready to announce her comeback Reputation (Taylor’s Version). Her website also crashed just before the Grammys, with a mysterious error code that included the text hneriergrd, which fans deciphered to mean “red herring.”

Additionally, she wore a black and white outfit to the awards, which many believed included a few significant others Reputation Easter eggs, including six chains on her necklaces as a nod to her sixth album.
