For a monthly or annual fee, Walmart+ members have access to a range of benefits that other Walmart customers don’t get. This includes free same-day delivery, fuel discounts, free Paramount+ membership and more.

How to sign up for Walmart+

Signing up for Walmart+ is easy — just follow the website link, click the button that says “request a free trial,” and add your email when prompted. If you already have a standard Walmart account, you will be prompted to enter a password. If you don’t have an account yet, you can enter your name, phone number and password to create one. You will then have the option to choose between a monthly payment plan and an annual payment plan. Choose the plan you want, then add your payment method to get started with your 30-day free trial.

If you decide to cancel your trial before the 30 days are up, just go to your account page, click Walmart+, then the gear icon and select cancel. If you cancel before the automatic renewal date, you will not be charged.

There are several options available when signing up for a Walmart+ membership. You can choose a standard membership and pay a monthly rate of $13 or an annual rate of $98. The annual plan costs $8 per month, so if you know you’ll want to enjoy the benefits of a Walmart+ membership year-round, this plan will ultimately save you $58 compared to the monthly plan.

Students can take advantage of special savings on a Walmart+ membership. For those who are 18 or older and are current or incoming students at Title IV schools in the US, you can get a Walmart+ membership for $6 a month or $49 a year. To be verified as a student, you must complete the SheerID Eligibility Verification Form, which you will be directed to from the Walmart+ website when you enroll.

Walmart also offers a discounted plan for anyone who is eligible for government assistance programs, including SNAP, WIC and Medicaid, as long as you have the necessary documents to prove your eligibility. Walmart+ Assist plans cost $6 per month or $49 per year for those who qualify.
