Former World Champion in Darts, Ted “The Count” Hankey was released from prison after only a year because he had ran his wife in a sexual attack.
The 56-year-old was closed for two years in May 2022. After a sexual attack on a woman with “air of right”.

Hankey was automatically released from prison in 2023 after withstanding only half of the sentence, the Ministry of Justice confirmed.
He remains in the Register of Sexual Running Rubber after recognizing the blame for one point of sex attack.
Cherown Court was said to have bailed Hankey and attacked her wife on September 10, 2021.
The former champion had no idea that the attack was caught on the camera and was arrested on the same day.
Hankey replied a “no comment” to the police while he was questioned in custody.
The judge said Hankey would “deny the bitter end” if the attack was not caught on film.
He added, “You honestly believed that no one would trust her until they showed you damn evidence.
“The nature of what you have done, the fact that you have backed it, that air right … You treated it as an object because of your disgusting and deviant sexual desires.
“Your self -pity for losing status and money making money – I’m sure you’ll never play darts on television again.”
Former Darts player is known for using the nickname “The Count” and dressed as a vampire for tournaments.
He is a double world professional champion in Darts after winning in 2000 and 2009.
Hankey, who lives in Telford, has also been twice in BDO competition.
He retired from the 2022 World Championships, which took place in February.
In 2012, Hankey suffered a mini-sea blow and missed the 2013 World Cup in PDC.
