Excited dog loves to taste a slice of lemon, but immediately freaks out with pure reactions

Dogs are interested in almost anything they see. If you give them a new toy, a new game, or if you introduce them to a new friend, they’ll spend hours enjoying the new adventure. This is the reason why many dogs become the subject of their owners’ experiments because they want to see their innocent reactions.

This video shows little Reeses, a Nova Scotia platypus retriever, eating a lemon for the first time.

The owner is holding a slice of lemon as the video begins. Reeses enjoyed its fresh color and was excited to see its taste. However, when he received the puzzle piece, he immediately appeared confused in how to react.

The fangs circled around him, pounced on him and scratched at him. He had just started his new interest.

After that, Reeses managed to bite him, but he immediately bounced off him with his puppy energy. Perhaps the lemon wedge is too sour to eat.

Watch the hilarious video below:

Reese’s reaction is adorable, but if you’re thinking of testing your dog with a lemon, don’t! Lemons should not be included in your pet’s diet.

Dr Joanna Woodnutt wrote on loveyourdog.com: “The worst thing about lemons from a dog’s perspective is that they taste terrible. However, this isn’t the only reason why you shouldn’t give your precious pup lemons.

Lemons contain citric acid, essential oils (such as limonene) and psoralen, which are known to make dogs sick.”

Luckily, it turns out that Reeses isn’t allergic to lemons, he just hates the taste of it. If you love dogs, follow them on Instagram.
