“Honestly, it has been a therapeutic journey,” said Mark, who spent two years in Los Angeles presenting a US entertainment news program. I just wanted to come out and say: ‘I understand how you’d feel if I let you down’ and I want to hear that from them, and I did not.”

Josh, who married wife Hollie Kane in 2018, hopes his sons – 15-month-old Josh and baby Dustin, who are “healthy” after arriving 12 weeks early in February – will form a bond close relationship as he had with Mark. Josh told us, “Even though Mark is three years older than me, I feel like we’re the same age. “We did everything together growing up. So with my two sons apart for less than a year, I think they’ll get that bond too, if not more.

“I’m sure they’ll love taking a trip like this when they’re older. They could arrest me, Mark and my dad,” he added with a laugh, before his dad interjected, “If you do that again, you’ll have to find another Mark senior – I think I will retire!”
