FA Cup 3rd round draw LIVE: Arsenal face Man Utd in bombshell tie while non-league Tamworth host Spurs – latest reaction

FA Cup history Arsenal vs Man Utd

After their FA Cup third round draw, it will be the 17th time the teams have met in the competition.

They previously met in the finals in 1997 and 2005, both of which were won by Arsenal.

The last match took place in 2019, and United won it.

Overall, Arsenal have six wins while United have eight, while they are separated by two draws.

United’s tally of 22 goals is also better than Arsenal’s 20 in these games.

Wayne Rooney is the best scorer of the match, and he scored three goals against the team from North London in the FA Cup.

Bukayo Saka currently leads Arsenal’s scoring charts with six goals, although all of them have been in the Premier League.

Neville pops up at Guardiola

Gary Neville mocked Pep Guardiola after Salford drew against Man City.

Neville owns Salford with other members of the class of 92.

Father against son

One tie is Everton v Peterborough.

However, the title on that draw has nothing to do with the teams, but with two players.

Everton’s Ashley Young could end up playing against his 18-year-old son Tyler.

He posted a screenshot of the tie on Instagram and tagged his father in it.

Young Sr. won the FA Cup in 2016 with Man Utd.

He played 31 FA Cup matches in his career.

Meanwhile, Tyler only made his professional debut in October in a 2-0 EFL Trophy win against Stevenage.
