Three series were made of the popular Channel 4 comedy show which aired between 1995 and 1998.

26 years after the original airing of the final episode, part of the cast has reunited for a major project.

Northern Ireland Comic Con took place earlier this month and the three actors hosted their own reunion.

Comedian Patrick McDonnell played heartthrob singer and TV personality Eoin McLove in the series.

Paddy Ward played Bishop Jordan, while TikTok sensation Ben Keaton was cast as the irritating priest Austin Purcell.

Together the trio were all smiles as they posed on the steps of Lisburn Place.

When they were at the convention center, Patrick posted a video of the small group on his Instagram page.

“I’m at the Icon Center in Lisburn at Comic Con and I smell a bad smell.”

The camera then panned to Paddy who exclaimed, “I’m fine, thanks!”

Ben then appeared in a video where he jokingly asked: “We miss you [someone]. Who’s the short guy we’re missing this Saturday?”

Then he added, “I will baptize your babies. Bring them!”

But Patrick was desperate for the group to get back on message as he declared: “We’ve been here all day and Father Damien (Joe Rooney) will be joining us tomorrow. See you then!

Returning to his character, he added sarcastically, “I could have had you killed.”

Fans were left in hysterics over the video as they flooded the comments section of his post.

One fan exclaimed: “This is brilliant,” along with a tear-of-joy emoji.

I can kill you.

Comedian Patrick McDonnell joked

“We need a show!” commented another.

While a third user jokingly wrote: “‘I could kill you’. So humble and thoughtful.”

And a fourth simply commented: “Iconic”, along with a clapping hands emoticon signifying his applause.
