- Faria said in an interview that she wanted to be a dancer since she was a child. She said,
I have had a keen interest in dance since I was a child. But when I first saw it performed live, I was immediately fascinated by the culture and wanted to be a part of it. I even started attending jam sessions, dance competitions, and gigs, and exploring more through the underground dance scene. Soon, I felt like I belonged in this underground dance fraternity. “
- While pursuing his undergraduate degree at Loyola University, Hyderabad, Faria attended a university cultural event where Telugu director Nag Ashwin was a guest. During the event, Nag Ashwin noticed Faria and later invited her for an audition, after which she was selected to star in her debut film Jathi Ratnalu (2021). While studying at Loyola College, Dean Nag Ashwin was the chief guest at a program. I gave a speech on stage. Then he called me and asked me “What do you want to be?” “I’m a theater artist.
