Farooq Nazki was an Indian poet, television presenter and media personality from the Indian federal territory of Jammu and Kashmir who was the director of Doordarshan and erstwhile Radio Kashmir Srinagar under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting from 1986 to 1997.
