Wiki/Biography

Ramachandra Mishra, pen name Faturananda, was born on Tuesday 1 June 1915 (age 80; at time of death) in Jhanjhirmangala, Cuttack, Odisha. His zodiac sign is Gemini.

“The stories I initially wrote were all tragic. After Cuttack’s Dagara was published, I started noticing comedic and humorous stories in it. These were more or less the same plot. For example, a college A romance between a guy and a college girl. The two decided to get married but faced some obstacles before getting married. Their romance finally ended. After seeing the same situation in all these published stories, I say – Without these college boys and college girls, wouldn’t there be humor? I made up my mind then and there that I would never add romance to my humor and sarcasm. I’ve followed that rule ever since.”
