Wedding bells will soon be ringing for Félix Auger-Aliassime and his longtime girlfriend Nina Ghaibi.
The day after Thanksgiving, the 24-year-old tennis star took to Instagram to announce her engagement by posting two stunning new photos of the happily engaged couple. Dressed in all white, they stood against the backdrop of the coast with a romantic sunset. “I couldn’t have dreamed of a better eternity 🥰❤️💍,” he said in the post.
Fans quickly sent waves of congratulations. The photo itself quickly earned more than 30,000 likes. But some of Auger-Aliassime’s fellow tennis players also chimed in with some praise.
“Congratulations!” said ATP tennis player Hubert Hurkacz, in a short and sweet post.
“Finally someone to share a Netflix password with forever,” wrote Greek tennis player Stefanos Tsitsipas. “Congratulations Felix!”

Auger-Aliassime and Ghaib, 24, have been together since March 2019, around the beginning of his important career. He is still one of Canada’s biggest tennis stars and is currently ranked 29th in the ATP. Ghaibi is also an athlete. Judging by her many posts on Instagram, she is a rider who has adored horses since childhood. She has also competed in global equestrian events, including the 2017 Morrocan Royal Tour, an international show jumping competition.

The French Canadian professional and Ghaibi have kept a relatively low profile when it comes to their romantic relationship, so not much is known about them other than the occasional romantic post they choose to share on social media. But the couple has made quite a few public appearances over the years. They attended their first Met Gala in 2021, and Ghaibi has been with Auger-Aliassi at numerous events. She is also a regular at all of her now-fiancé’s tennis matches, and the two have also been featured in Netflix’s tennis docu-series, Breakpoint.
On March 22, 2021, Auger-Aliassime marked the couple’s two-year anniversary with a carousel of romantic photos with Ghaibi on Instagram. “Well, I’m pretty happy that our paths crossed two years ago 😘,” he said in the post. “Two years of love and happiness. For many more in the future 🥰❤️.”
