AN Irish rugby fan was allegedly abducted and gang-raped by three men while in Bordeaux to watch her nation play.
The woman (37) was transported to the University Hospital in Bordeaux while the police continue their search for the three men.

The attack took place in the city center
The horrific attack reportedly took place around midnight on Rue de la Rousselle in central Bordeaux, near where the woman was staying.
She said she was dragged into an alley and attacked, and residents called the police.
The three men fled the scene, leaving the woman lying injured, according to police.
French police have called on Irish officers who were in town to help as the World Cup continues in France.
Three of the suspects are white, and one is described as having a “very athletic build.”
Gardai said in a statement: “Members of An Garda Síochána currently deployed in France during the Rugby World Cup to assist Irish people visiting France are liaising with local authorities in relation to the alleged incident.
“The investigation is a matter for the French police. An Garda Síochána has no further comment at this time.”
