Reasons behind Fetty Wap’s arrest

Fetty Wap threatened to kill an anonymous person on FaceTime. According to court filings, authorities discovered a video of the artist making threats in December 2021.

He pointed the revolver at the person and shouted:

“I’ll kill you and everyone you’re with.” “I’ll kill you.”

He continued to repeat the phrases throughout the conversation, violating the terms of his release on $500,000 bail last November after being charged with possession and distribution of dangerous narcotics. In October 2021, Wap was arrested by the FBI on federal drug charges for delivering drugs in New York at Rolling Loud New York. He was one of six people charged with similar crimes, including the distribution of more than 100 kilograms (220 pounds) of cocaine to dealers in New Jersey and Long Island, New York.

The 31-year-old has already dealt with legal problems. Several lawsuits have been filed against him for intellectual property infringement, defamation, property damage and assault. He was arrested on a Brooklyn freeway in November 2017 on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, reckless endangerment, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, improper lane change and drag racing.
