Endwalker FFXIV Guide: Anabaseios: The Eleventh Circle

Anabaseios: The Eleventh Circle is the third and final third encounter of eight players, popular raid content released with patch 6.4 Final Fantasy XIV: Doom Walker. It is available at level 90 after completing Anabaseios: Tenth Lap and is unlocked through the quest The Emissary’s Judgment. It can be done through Duty Finder with a minimum ilv of 615 and rewards each device type with Annabaseios Unsung Tokens can be given to Djole at (x:10.3, y:9.7) in Meghaduta, Radz-at-Han. Mylenie at (x:8.4, y:27.7) in Aporia, Labyrinthos will also exchange Anabaseios Unsung tokens for the device.

For the sake of your other players, keep in mind that this is new (at launch) content. A little friendly explanation can go a long way. Likewise, don’t be afraid to take advice. You may learn something that you don’t know.

Themis

  • Eunomia – Massive damage and bleeding are unavoidable.
  • Division Judgment – Themis will project a wide linear range forward and behind him. Above him, there is a halo of dark energy or a halo of light energy. The first one is always dark. Two different aura representations:

  • Enduring Verdict – There are two different ways this mechanic behaves, but the first is always the dark tank-breaking style.
    • Tank buster + Dark halo – There will be a large circular Tank buster and AoE indicator on the tank. The boss will jump to the tank, where they choose to place their AoE circle, then, depending on whether the aura is dark or light on Themis, will place an AoE donut in the center of where it jumps. Be prepared that you may need to travel large distances quickly. Don’t be fooled by the look of the lanyard, it’s not a close range lanyard, so you can get as close as you can as long as you don’t catch anyone in the AoE circle.
    • Stack + Halo – Stack, stack and spread!
      • Darkness – stay and eat donuts.
      • Light – scatter!
  • Verdict upheld – this is always the Stack + Light version.
  • Styx – Our old friend Zodiark may be familiar with it. Absorb 5 laser energy with your party.

  • Dineis – A series of two red AoE circles will appear at the feet of all players.

  • Shadow Courier – Two copies will be placed perpendicular to each other at the edge of the arena. Each of these copies will use the Divisional Judgment. One will do a dark variation and the other will do a light color. Find the bright ones, note the lines to avoid, find the dark ones and see what safe space to move to once the initial attack is over.
