Firoz has had a keen interest in acting since his childhood. After completing his studies, he entered the world of movies. He got his first break in BR Chopra’s TV show Mahabharata in 1988-89 and rose to fame in the television industry. Later, Firoz appeared in TV series such as “The Sword of Tipu Sultan”, “The Great Maratha”, “Om Namah Shivay”, “Alif Laila”, “Khichdi” and others. He plays the main villain Samrat in Balaji Telefilms Kayamat.
In 2018, Firoz played the role of Kukudmi in Star Bharat’s TV show RadhaKrishn, followed by Paramavatar Shri Krishna as Bhismak.
In 2022, he played the important villain role of Bheem (Jagbandhu’s uncle) in Vidrohi on Star Plus channel along with Sharad Malhotra, Hemal Dev and Sulagna Panigrahi. His role received a lot of critical acclaim.
Apart from television, Firoz is also very active in the film industry and has acted in films like “Bhookamp”, “Zameen”, “Kakhhee”, “Om”, “Ek Bhool Choti Si”, etc. His performance as Shri Rajiv Gandhi in the film on the life of Smt Sonia Gandhi, produced and directed by TD Kumar, former Commissioner of Income Tax, Mumbai, attracted widespread attention at the 21st International Film Festival.
