A Frontier Airlines jet caught fire while landing in Las Vegas over the weekend.
The incident occurred on a flight from San Diego when the plane landed at Harry Reid International Airport around 3:15 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, Frontier Airlines said.
“While Flight 1326 was in the process of landing at LAS this afternoon… the pilots detected smoke and declared an emergency,” Frontier wrote on X (formerly Twitter). “The aircraft landed safely, and all passengers and crew were evacuated by air stairs.”
In video footage obtained by CNN and ABC News, the plane appeared to have flames and smoke under its wings and fuselage as it landed on the runway.

Airplane fire engine forces emergency landing after possible bird strike: WATCH
None of the 190 passengers and seven crew members on board the plane were injured during the incident.
The Clark State Fire Department responded to the crash site shortly after landing, and the passengers were transported by bus to their terminal, CNN writes.
According to airport officials, according to CNN and ABC News, the plane “experienced a hard landing in which the tires practically blew out.”

The National Transportation Safety Board announced it was investigating the cause of the incident in a statement on Sunday, October 6.
