The Public Enemy rapper was dressed in a Swift-themed cardigan and matching watch necklace
Flavor Flav’s signature watch necklace never goes out of style — and neither does his love for Taylor Swift.
The Public Enemy founder, 64, combined two of his biggest interests at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Friday night, wearing a watch around his neck while also introducing one of his favorite singer-songwriters.
The Hall of Famer himself stepped out in a light blue watch necklace and matching cardigan from Swift’s website. As he wore 1989 (Taylor version) of the outfit, Flav even handed out Swift-themed guitar picks to reporters at the event and was open about his admiration for the musician.
“I’m a huge fan of hers,” Swift, 33, told PEOPLE.

“I’ve been to two of her fashion shows. I think they were phenomenal, a whole nine for her,” he added. “To be able to perform all those songs in three hours, oh my god. I’m not going to lie, but it’s an action-packed concert.”
The “Fight the Power” rapper also said that “every line she says is about life.”
“That’s why I support her,” continued Flav. “Because she’s real. She keeps it real with her fans, and she keeps it real with her music.”
Flavor Flav Says He’ll Attend Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour Twice: ‘Call Me a Swiftie’
Flav previously spoke to TMZ in June about his decision to go on the Eras Tour in Detroit for the first time, explaining that he’s “always been a huge fan of her music” even before meeting Swift at the iHeartRadio Awards in March.
“Like I’m a big fan of Christina Aguilera, or Gwen Stefani, or I love some Miley Cyrus. You know what I’m saying? You’ll find me at their concerts, too,” he said on time. “A lot of people thought it was kind of weird to see me at a Taylor Swift concert, I guess because of my age… But, you know, when it comes to music, there’s no age. Music has no age.”

The rapper, who added that he’s “just trying to be fast like Taylor, baby,” also revealed that he’s made new friends at Detroit’s Ford Field.
“Also, I want to — most of all — say a big thank you to all the Taylor Swift fans, man,” he said. “It gave me love while I was at the concert, because I have more bracelets than anyone in the world, and it felt so good to get all that love from them.”
