Flavor Flav, who has been quite open about his love for Taylor Swift lately, took to X (formerly Twitter) on Nov. 5 to express his admiration for the “All Too Well” singer’s close friend Selena Gomez, noting her openness about physical and mental health.
“I don’t know her personally,,, but Selena Gomez is one of the STRONGEST and MOST BEAUTIFUL people inside and out,” the Public Enemy rapper (65) wrote alongside a photo of Gomez (32).
He added: “I applaud her for being so open about her health and mental health. And even more kudos to her for applauding haterz,,, but she shouldn’t.”

Gomez, who has been open about her diagnoses of lupus and bipolar disorder, founded the Rare Impact Fund to support “organizations that increase access to youth mental health services and education globally,” according to the organization’s website.
Launched in 2020 as the philanthropic arm of her Rare Beauty brand, 1% of the cosmetics line’s total sales are donated to the Rare Impact Fund.

“I think it’s important to have moments alone,” Gomez explained. “But when you isolate yourself, sometimes those feelings can just stay bottled up.”
She encouraged fans to “find one person to trust and tell your heart to” and make sure “that you can actually trust them with that information.”
“It really helps to share,” Gomez added.

Flavor Flav Says He Plans To Attend As Many Upcoming Taylor Swift Shows ‘As I Can’ (Exclusive)
Since attending his first show on the Eras Tour in June 2023, Flav has been quite public about his Swift fans.
In a September interview with PEOPLE, the Rock & Roll Hall of Famer talked about wanting to attend more concerts before the tour ends in December: “As many as I can, as many as my schedule allows me to go, at least .”
Following up on his praise of Gomez on X, Flav shared a gif of the Disney Channel student and Swift talking to each other and wrote, “I found out that Taylor and Selena are BFFs.”
