Flavor Flav Says He Plans to Attend as Many of Taylor Swift's Upcoming Shows 'as I Can Make' (Exclusive)

Flavor Flav isn’t giving up his King Swiftie title anytime soon!

The longtime Taylor Swift fan and Public Enemy rapper, 65, has been to many of the Eras Tour concerts — even receiving praise from Swift herself during her performance at the Volksparkstadion in Hamburg, Germany on July 23 — earning himself the “King Swiftie” ” nickname of her fans.

But he told PEOPLE at the iHeart Radio Music Festival in Las Vegas on Saturday, Sept. 21, that he’s not done with the pop superstar’s current tour, saying he plans to go on “as much as he can” of her upcoming tour should Swift continue her record-breaking tour next month with three shows in Miami starting on October 18, before a show in New Orleans that same month, followed by a run of shows in Indianapolis in early November, then moves to Canada with a few shows in Toronto that month, before Swift wraps up with three shows in Vancouver in December.

“I know I’m going to one of them in Florida,” Flavor Flav told PEOPLE.

“After that, I don’t know, as far as I could go. As much as I can, as much as my schedule allows, I will go at least.”

The rapper previously attended the singer’s Detroit Eras Tour at Ford Field on June 9, 2023 and her Los Angeles Eras Tour performance at SoFi Stadium in August 2023, as well as attending the song’s premiere on October 11, 2023. Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour.

The pair also spoke at the 2024 Grammys in February, and Flav later opened up to them Los Angeles Timesthat he finally “got some time for Taylor” at the awards show, after attending her shows the previous year.

“Discussion [at the event] it was about congratulating her on all her successes. And I’m a big fan of hers, a big supporter,” he told the newspaper, adding that Swift told him she knew about his title as “King Swiftie.”

The “Swiftie King” also recently showed his support for another star, presenting American gymnast Jordan Chiles with a bronze watch necklace at the 2024 MTV VMAs on September 11. Flav created a custom watch for Chiles after she was stripped of her bronze medal following the floor exercise final at the Paris Olympics in August.

And while he’s given them to many people over the years, he’s keeping his next watch recipient a secret.

“I can’t say yet,” he told PEOPLE when asked who will get the watch next.

“I don’t just give them to anyone, you know what I’m saying? You have to be really special to get this.” He added, “I like to keep my watches exclusive.”
