Food Content Creator Details the Best Way to Cut Cheese — Using a Fork!: ‘Such a Game Changer’

Say little bird!

Apparently there’s a simple trick to getting the perfect slice of cheese every time — and it’s been making the rounds on Instagram since late last year.

Food and beverage content creator Jacqueline Vignona shared in an Instagram post in 2023 that she uses a fork to evenly cut cheese slices.

In the video, Vignona gently puts the tip of her fork into the cheese on a cutting board on a checkered tablecloth.

After poking tiny holes in the dairy product, Vignona then uses a large knife to cut the cheese into evenly shaped pieces, using the fork marks as a guide.

“If you’re serving cheese at a holiday party and you want your slices to be even, use a fork to measure the slices,” Vignona says in a voice-over clip. “This works every time, it’s the best.”

In the caption of her post, Vignona described learning her “best cheese tip ever” from her friend Lauren, who goes by the name @thecheesechica on the social media platform.

“That’s a big change for an even cut of cheese!” wrote the influencer on social networks. “Using a fork to measure each slice ensures that all your pieces are perfectly even!”

“Thanks for upping my cheese game Lauren aka @thecheesechica,” Vignona continued.

In the comments section, various Instagram users reacted to the hack, including one who mocked the advice for cutting cheese.
