Why Peter Weber regrets not consulting fellow bachelor Arie Luyendyk Jr. Traitors

Weber showed his competitive nature at Traitors taking charge of the Faithful and leading them in some major moves, including banishing the traitors Dan Gheesling and Parvati Shallow. Of course, Weber made some enemies among the traitors (and even the faithful!), with Phaedra Parks memorably telling him at the roundtable, “This is not Bachelor and I don’t have to kiss your ass for a rose.”

The pilot tried to make amends with Parks, 50, by handing her a rose Traitors reunion.

“I talked to the producer, I said, ‘Yeah, I should do it. Why not?’” Weber said of how that moment came about. “It was [the] the perfect way, I think, to smooth everything out. And listen, I think Phaedra is amazing. Obviously we went into it and fought hard, but it was all in the spirit of the game.”

Weber’s cunning instincts surprised viewers and Traitors host Alan Cumming equally.

“Peter’s trajectory in the show is fascinating because it shows the whole theory that players from shows like Survived and Big Brother and everything will be much more predisposed to do well in the show; that’s obviously not true,” Cumming, 59, told PEOPLE. “Peter as the likable bachelor kind of worked it all out and really strategized in a really amazing way.”
