Strictly Come Dancing star Caroline Quentin joined the Loose Women panel on Wednesday to discuss an upcoming project with her daughter Rose and reflect on her time on the dance hit competition. While fondly reminiscing about her experience and friendship with her dance partner Johannes Radabe, Caroline warned about the new line-up.
After admitting it was a “strange, strange” time to be on the show due to the 2020 COVID pandemic, Caroline offered some advice to Strictly’s new line-up. Watch the clip here…

She joked, “Ice packs! Have lots and lots of ice packs!” On a more serious note, she continued: “Take care of your mental and physical health because it’s going very, very hard.” A panelist added: “It’s hard, isn’t it.”
The pair were the fourth couple to be eliminated from the show in 2020, and the actress described the experience as “an honor and a privilege”.

Speaking to Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman after their elimination, she added: “I really believe that, I think they’re absolutely fantastic, but of course my biggest gift coming into this show is this man.” Then Johannes said: “Oh my God, what a woman! Thank you, thank you again, thank you, thank you, thank you. I don’t know what to say, because she was beautiful, I had a wonderful trip with you, thank you dear my, thank you.”

After Caroline, Johannes has since danced with GBBO star John Whaite and Ted Las star Ellie Taylor. In a recent interview, John admitted that he fell in love with Johannes during the show. He said: “I fell in love [Johannes]. I can’t speak for him – because legally I’m not allowed to – but I felt like there was love there. Well, yes, I fell in love with Johannes. I still love Johannes. Of course I want. Until the end, me and [his fiancé] Paul discussed it.”

Johannes has previously spoken about their relationship. Speaking on the Reign with Josh Smith podcast, he said: “I fell back in love with my art form because of John. The opportunity to be so creative with what we had to come up with every week. I was trying to figure things out as I went along. He never once did that I feel different.”
