Frank Sinatra’s former home in West Hills, California has hit the market!

This four-bedroom, six-and-a-half-bath mid-century equestrian home is listed for $8.995 million with Jeff Biebuyck and Dana Olmes of Frontgate Real Estate.

The 6,661-square-foot estate was designed by renowned architect William Pereira, FAIA, and was built between 1949 and 1951, according to Architectural Digest.

“More than just a masterpiece, this property represents the pinnacle of residential design achievement for William Pereira,” Olmes said in a statement included in the listing.

In addition to previously being owned by a cult entertainer, Architectural Digest reported to have been used as a filming location by more than 500 film and television production companies.

Upon entering the home and past the glass pavilion doors, there is a large living room with 16-foot high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling glass walls, offering full views of the property’s expansive pergola, deck lounge, and 50-foot pool.

In the west wing of the residence there is a formal dining room, a sunny chef’s kitchen and three en-suite bedrooms connected to the living room. In the east wing there is a spacious primary suite.

“Adjacent to this exceptional property is an available lot (sold separately) with a guest house and a tentative tract map for multiple homes,” Biebuyck added in a statement included in the listing.

Sinatra died in 1998 at the age of 82. Back in 2015, his daughter Tina Sinatra told PEOPLE that the legendary performer “wanted to live a hundred years longer than life.”

“His ambition was to live as long as he could, as close to 100 as possible. He thought it would be great,” she said. Tina also told PEOPLE that she deeply appreciates his generation of fans.
