Fred Savage, whose real name is Frederick Aaron Savage, is known not only as an actor, but also as a director and producer. He was born on July 9, 1976 in Highland Park, Illinois, United States. His parents Lewis and Joanne Savage were industrial real estate brokers when he was born.
Ben and Karla, two of his siblings, both found success as actors, and Karla also took on the role of musician. Fred Savage is believed to have spent his formative years in Glencoe, Illinois before moving to California. He attended the elite Brentwood School located in Los Angeles. He graduated in English from Stanford in 1999.

Fred Savage began his acting career in the comedy-drama “The Boy Who Could Fly”, which is a mixed-genre film. Nick Castle was the director of this 1986 film. His debut on the famous program “The Twilight Zone”, which aired on the CBS network for three seasons from 1985 to 1989, served as the beginning of his V career.
