SUPERMARKET giant Asda has revealed 82 locations that will go cashless, in a major blow to shoppers.
The Sun previously revealed that the retailer had already discontinued human tills at 14 petrol stations linked to the supermarkets since last December.

And by the summer of this year, he plans to make completely cashless payments for another 68.
Asda said all staff working at petrol stations would be moved to stores, while the switch to “pay at the pump” would only affect forecourts adjacent to supermarkets.
Of the 300 fuel tanks associated with Asda superstores, more than 150 are already unmanned.
An Asda spokesman said it had gone mad because more than 90% of all payments at supermarket petrol stations are already made by card or contactless device.
They added: “Colleagues who worked on these sites are moving to the store to better serve our customers.”
Now the retailer has revealed the full list of cashless superstore locations.

The move to “pay at the pump” at 82 Asda locations will be a blow to shoppers who may want to pay with cash.
Pay at the pump allows customers to pay for fuel with their debit or credit cards at the pumps – but this is done before filling up.
A certain amount of money is deducted through what is known as a pre-authorization check to prevent people from driving away without paying.
This costs as much as £120 at some petrol stations before the actual charge is applied based on how much you fill up the tank.
But some drivers complained about the delay, which left them unable to access separate cash and temporarily out of pocket.
Asda charges up to £99 for a pre-authorisation check, although this can be lower if you have less in your account, and you’ll never go overdraft.
The supermarket first introduced the charge in its suburbs in Hull, East Yorkshire, in February 2022.
It joins Tesco and Sainsbury’s who implemented the change the year before.
Before that, the fee was just £1, meaning many didn’t notice. But in 2021, Visa and Mastercard have increased the holding fee to £100.
You never pay more – money is temporarily held until the exact amount you topped up is charged.
It’s usually immediate, but some drivers have found it takes longer and the cash turns out to be unavailable for spending.
Shoppers who want to avoid having their money marked as unavailable on their account are advised by supermarkets not to use payment at the pump.
Instead, they should go to the cashiers inside where no pre-clearance checks are done.
But this will no longer be possible at Asda locations where kiosks are closing.
It comes at a time when many supermarkets are increasingly switching to cashless payments, which is a blow to customers.
In November, Morrisons said it planned to convert many of its scan-to-card tills.
Aldi has also launched its first checkout-free supermarket in years.
In April 2019, Sainsbury’s launched the UK’s first free grocery store.
And in 2021, Amazon launched a checkout-free store, followed by Tesco in October.
But not all merchants are jumping into the cashless market. Booths, known as the Waitrose of the north, said in November that it would do away with automatic checkouts in most of its stores.
