Gajendra Singh Chauhan, better known as Gajendra Chauhan, is an Indian actor. He is best known for his role as Yudhishthira in the epic television series Mahabharata (1988–90). He was the President of the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) from June 2015 to October 2017.

Gajendra Chauhan was born on Wednesday, October 10, 1956, in Delhi (64 years old in 2020). His star sign is Libra. He went to school at Ramjas Senior Secondary School No. 2 in Delhi. After completing his schooling, Gajendra obtained a diploma in radiology from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). He then moved to Mumbai and joined Roshan Taneja’s acting school to hone his acting skills.

Gajendra started his acting career in 1983 with the TV series Paying Guest. He later acted in TV series like Rajni, Air Hostess and Adalat. Chauhan made his silver screen debut in 1986 with the film Main Chup Nahi Rahoongi. He has also acted in several B and C grade films.
