“If you want to come sing it, I’ll send a plane… You can come by yourself or bring your brother or your gang,” Brooks told Kelce
Garth Brooks has a suggestion for Travis Kelce.
Before opening Brooks’ Friends in Low Places Bar & Honky-Tonk in Nashville on March 7, he reached out to Kelce, 34, after seeing his rendition of the 1990 hit at the Kansas City Chiefs’ 2024 Super Bowl victory parade.
At the Feb. 14 event, Kelce grabbed the microphone and attempted to sing Brooks’ song, much to the country singer’s delight.

Have you seen Travis Kelce’s version of ‘Friends in Low Places’? Have you seen him sing this? I loved it, I thought it was fantastic,” Brooks said during his final episode Inside Studio GBrooks’ weekly live series on TalkShopLive.
“It blew me away because I’m sitting there watching it fall, right? I never expected that – he added.
Brooks said he has no plans to attend his bar’s upcoming opening, but would go if a certain Kansas City Chiefs tight end showed up.
“Big man, I’m just telling you this. I will be on [the] big opening if you’re there,” Brooks told Kelce.

“I will send a plane if you want to come and try to get another shot at the title. If you want to come sing it, I’ll send a plane,” he continued.
“You can come by yourself or bring your brother or your gang, whatever you want. The plane is 11, just remember that. So yeah, I’d be happy to send you this invitation if you want to try a little ‘Friends in Low Places’ at Friends in Low Places. ”

Brooks’ comments come after Kelce told the crowd at Wednesday’s parade, “If you know this song, sing along to it!” before launching into the hit track.
At one point, Kelce sang the line, “He took that glass of champagne…” before pausing and looking over his shoulder at teammate Patrick Mahomes, laughing, “Pat took that glass of champagne, I promise you.”
