Gary Adrian Condit, better known as Gary Condit, is a former politician from the United States who represented the 18th congressional district of California in the House of Representatives from 1989 to 2003. He became a national celebrity due to his adulterous relationship with Federal Bureau of Prisons intern Chandra Levy, which was revealed after Levy’s kidnapping in May 2001 and the subsequent discovery of Levy’s remains a year later.

Gary Condit was born on April 21, 1948 in Salina, Oklahoma, in the south-central region of the United States of America. His mother’s name is Velma Jean Condit, and his father is a Baptist minister, Adrian Burl Condit.
In 2017, his mother passed away. He was born and raised in the state of Oklahoma. Nathan Hale High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he completed his education.
During high school summers, Condit worked as a warehouseman in the oil fields of Oklahoma. Condit’s father was elected minister of a Baptist church in Ceres, California, near Modesto, California, in 1967, which caused his family to move from one location to another.
