Gaurav Sharma started his YouTube career in August 2016 and released his first YouTube video on August 6 titled “Extreme Kite Flying by Delhi Boys… How to Fly a Kite”. His first viral video was “GAFFAR MARKET[Explore, Sting operation- mobiles, gadgets ,new and second hand] Delhi”, which mainly talks about how to buy mobile phones and watches in Gaffar Market in Delhi. Later, he started uploading daily vlogs, but his channel grew rapidly after he went to Dubai to explore the city life there.

- On October 31, 2017, Gaurav Sharma announced that he would quit his YouTube journey due to some personal issues, but just eight days later, on November 8, 2017, Gaurav uploaded a video titled “Reasons for My Comeback” and mentioned that he continued his journey only due to the requests of his fans. As soon as the video went viral, “Gaurav Chaudhary” aka Technical Guruji accused him that it was just a clickbait trick to attract subscribers to his account.
- Gaurav Sharma is involved in a dispute with ‘Arun’, the operator of the YouTube channel ‘Two Brothers.’ According to Arun, he had paid Rs 1 lakh to Gaurav to promote his YouTube channel, but later Gaurav denied the claim and did not return the money.

- On May 21, 2021, Gaurav Sharma posted a video titled “Flying Dollar with Helium Balloons”. He tied his pet dog Dollar with a string of helium balloons and let his dog fly by himself. The video shows all the preparations that Gaurav made in advance, and his mother also helped him in the task. As soon as the video went viral, viewers started blaming him and filed multiple complaints against him. Gaurav deleted the video and posted an apology video on May 23, 2021. Later, Gaurav was arrested by the local police for cruelty to animals in violation of Sections 188, 264 and 33 of the Animal Cruelty Act.
- On November 14, 2021, the Uttar Pradesh police arrested him for shooting a video inside the ‘Nidhivan Raj’ in Vrindavan, Mathura. Nidhivan Raj is considered a holy place where people believe that Radha and Lord Krishna perform ‘raas lila’ every night. After shooting the alleged video on the night of November 6, 2021, he uploaded it on his YouTube channel on November 9, 2021. Following this, Rohit Goshwami, a priest of Nidhivan Raj, filed a complaint with the Vrindavan police station and filed a case against Sharma under Section 295A of the Indian Penal Code and Section 66 of the Information Technology Act, following which the police arrested him from his Delhi residence.
