Gautami Nair is an Indian actor, film director, neuroscientist and psychologist. She played the role of Anupama in the Malayalam film 2018, which is India’s official entry for the Best International Feature Film award at the 96th Academy Awards.

In April 2017, she joined the Department of Psychiatry, Government Medical College, Alappuzha, Kerala as an intern. She interned there for two months. In March 2020, she started working as a Junior Research Fellow at Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute of Medical Sciences and Technology, Kerala.
