Gavin Rossdale brings his lesser-known talent to light.
The musician invites celebrity guests to his California mansion to cook and pass the time with food, games and music on his new show, RockStar kitchen chronicles. Rossdale previewed the upcoming series, which will premiere on VIZIO’s free streaming service, WatchFree+, in early 2025.
The trailer shows frontman Bush greeting each celebrity in their car before walking into his beautiful Los Angeles home with them.

Rossdale, who was married to Gwen Stefani for 13 years before they split in 2015, credits his “love affair with food” to a sense from another musician: “Miles Davis said every musician should know how to cook,” he says.
The clip highlights some light-hearted moments including a silly exchange between Rossdale and Sir Tom Jones. “You don’t judge a man by the size of his cigar,” says Jones. “Or his dog,” jokes Rossdale as the camera cuts to his late Pomeranian, Chewy.
Laughter – and drinks – are shared. While 30 Rock star Jack McBrayer is surrounded by empty glasses, burps and jokingly points at Rossdale, “F— you, Gavin Rossdale!”

But there are also serious moments. Three-course meals are paired with deep conversations, as seen in the reel.
“I had some battle scars and I had some situations where the system went down and what do you do? You have to have fun,” says Common.
Selma Blair tells Rossdale about her multiple sclerosis diagnosis. “It was no big deal that I was diagnosed with MS; it was that it took so long,” she says.
Of course, no cooking show with Rossdale would be complete without musical interludes.

He and Jones sing an acoustic version of the Welsh musician’s “It’s Not Unusual.” In another moment, Rossdale and Williams sing together as the mother of two picks up her phone to record their performance.
In a press release for the show, Rossdale said: “I have found that cooking for people creates intimate and special moments and is a great conduit for deeper, meaningful conversations. Nothing brings me greater joy than connecting with friends and family over a fantastic meal that I have prepared just for them.”
