Giada De Laurentiis began her career as a professional chef working at numerous restaurants in Los Angeles, including Spago owned by Wolfgang Puck.
She then worked as a food stylist and was invited by the Food Network in 2002 after she styled an article for “Food & Wine” magazine.
Her daily Food Network cooking show, “Everyday Italian,” debuted on April 5, 2003.
Giada began hosting “Behind the Bash” in October 2005, while a third show hosted by De Laurentiis, “Giada’s Weekend Getaways”, aired on the Food Network in January 2007.
