Giada De Laurentiis’ daughter Jade is one talented singer.
On Wednesday, September 25, the Food Network alum, 54, shared a series of photos and videos on her Instagram page to celebrate the end of summer. In the carousel, De Laurentiis showed off her summer travels, a video of her picking tomatoes at a market and a clip of Jade, 16, singing with her band The Hours.
In the clip, Jade – who De Laurentiis shares with her ex-husband, clothing designer Todd Thompson – can be seen singing lead vocals outdoors with a Los Angeles train station in the background. She is supported by guitarists and a drummer.

De Laurentiis fans were immediately impressed by Jade’s singing abilities.
“I have no idea Jade sang. 😍,” one commenter wrote under the Instagram post.
“Omg Jade is an amazing singer!” another commenter wrote.
Elsewhere in her post, the celebrity chef showed off some footage of her travels to Italy. One video featured a funny clip of her aunt Raffy filling a pot full of seawater while they were sitting on a boat. De Laurentiis announces that for cooking in the open sea, he will use a pot with half sea water and half ordinary water.

De Laurentiis always supported her daughter’s music career. In 2022, she showed a video of Jade performing in her school’s production Musical Matilda, sharing a clip of her then-13-year-old self taking the lead in a rendition of “Naughty.”
2023 also shared photos from another of Jade’s school musical performances, this time for her role on the show i workaccording to a joint Instagram post by De Laurentiis and ex-husband Thompson.

“#proudparents,” they captioned a photo of the trio smiling as Jade holds a bouquet of flowers.
In the summer of 2024, the TV host and Thompson released an announcement from Jade’s theater camp.
“We are so proud of our girl and it is so special to watch her do what she loves,” De Laurentiis wrote.
