Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper Taking Weekend Trips Together: ‘She Likes That He’s a Dad’ (Exclusive Source)

Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper are taking their newlywed relationship on the road.

The model and actor are enjoying weekends together as they continue to get to know each other, an insider told PEOPLE.

“Gigi is great. She meets Bradley out of town. They go on weekends together,” says the source. “She’s having fun. And she likes that he’s a dad.”

Another source previously told PEOPLE that Hadid, 28, and Cooper, 48, are “dating,” but that things are casual after they were seen together twice in New York earlier this month.

“She’s independent, busy, and her days are filled with commitments, so I don’t see anything serious happening right away or at all,” the source said.

However, the source revealed that Hadid was “kind of in love with him.” [Cooper] for a while” and that the pair immediately struck up a friendship based on their shared interests, including Hadid’s interest in acting.

“[They have] things in common so you can see how it’s progressing,” the source continued. “He looks super casual now, but they both have kids, big careers, busy lives and understand what life is like in these circles. It’s cute…and there’s an attraction.”

Hadid is mom to three-year-old daughter Khai, while Cooper shares six-year-old daughter Lea De Seine with Russian model Irina Shayk, with whom he was in a relationship from 2015 to 2017.

Hadid and Cooper were first spotted together on Oct. 5 when they were photographed leaving Via Carota restaurant in the West Village. In images obtained by Daily mailthey could be seen climbing into the same SUV.

Just three days later, the couple met for another dinner. After the meal, they were photographed riding in the same car, with Cooper at the wheel.

Representatives for Hadid and Cooper did not respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

Recently, Hadid was linked with Leonardo DiCaprio. She and Killers of the Flower Moon star sparked dating rumors when they were seen together at a New York Fashion Week after party in September 2022.

She was previously in a five-year relationship with former One Direction member Zayn Malik, with whom she had a daughter in September 2020. They split in October 2021 after nearly six years together.
