Gigi Hadid wears a chic new look!
On Friday, the 28-year-old model debuted a new hairstyle in a video she shared on her Instagram. In the grainy 2000s-inspired clip set to Loretta Lynn’s 1963 song “Act Naturally,” Hadid’s hairstylist, Chris McMillan, can be seen cutting off a few inches of her wet hair.
The video then shows Hadid teasing the updated look – wearing just a black bra and a simple face of make-up – as McMillan runs a hand along her new blunt cut.
“Dinner and a chop ✂️,” Hadid joked in the caption, tagging McMillan and videographer Alana O’Herlihy.
In a post on his own Instagram account, McMillan shared a pair of photos of Hadid showing off her new dress.
“New haircut for @gigihadid from me,” he wrote. “I loved working with Gigi on this new cut.”
McMillan also tagged hair artist Laura Polko, who helped style Hadid’s new cut for the photos. In the first image, the model wears a bright yellow bikini top under a cream jumper, completing the beachy look with shell jewellery. In another photo, he wears a gray collared shirt while posing in front of a tree.
“I can’t wait to see the style journey that stylists working with this cut will make ✂️❤️,” added McMillan.

Hadid also posted several photos of the finished look on her Instagram on Saturday, writing, “Sunshine & my new ‘do.” One shot captured her hair blowing in the breeze as she posed with outstretched arms in front of a palm tree.

Hadid has had a busy March so far. Earlier this week, she walked the runway at Paris Fashion Week for Chanel, marking her first Fashion Week runway appearance since closing the Miu Miu Spring/Summer 2024 show in Paris in October 2023.

Wearing a long black dress that was sheer below the waist, Hadid accessorized with a pair of patent leather platform boots and a collection of bold gold jewelry, including two textured cuff bracelets and a layered gold necklace with several lockets.
A thin black belt with a gold buckle sat around her waist, and she was holding a black Chanel bag in her hand as she walked. Her hair was swept back with a black bow and white flower detail.
