Taylor Swift may not be attending the 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, according to her pal Gigi Hadid, but the superstar will still be supporting the model from afar.
While getting ready backstage on Tuesday, October 15, Gigi, 29, shared Party tonight that Swift, 34, likely skipped the event in New York to spend quality time with boyfriend Travis Kelce.
“I think if they have one more night before he comes back, they’ll probably make themselves comfortable on the couch,” the model said in a video shared on ET’s Instagram. “That’s just my guess. But she’ll be supportive too, I can feel it.”
Hadid also shared that Swift taught her the element of surprise in her runway show.
“There’s one aspect that Taylor trained me on on her tour,” she said. “At one of her rehearsals, she said, ‘I’ll show you how we do it.’ I did and now I’m using it tonight.”

Swift and Kelce, 35, enjoyed a short trip to New York before getting back to work. The NFL star’s passing week is coming to an end as Swift kicks off the final leg of her Eras Tour in Miami.
The weekend kicked off with a double date with Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds on Friday, October 11. On Monday, October 14, Swift and Kelce attended the American League Championship game of the New York Yankees against the Cleveland Guardians at Yankee Stadium. The couple matched in black outfits for the evening date, both sporting baseball caps and black jackets.

Hadid, who has been friends with Swift for more than a decade, made her debut at the 2015 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show and appeared in the 2016 fashion show in Paris. She missed the show in 2017, but returned in 2018 along with her sister Bella.

The model teamed up with VS veteran Tyra Banks to announce the return of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in 2024. In a clip shared on Instagram in August, Hadid entered the hotel lobby, where Banks greeted her with a show invitation in hand.
Before the show, Victoria’s Secret shared that models Imaan Hammam, Candice Swanepoel, Grace Elizabeth, Devyn Garcia, Paloma Elsesser, Taylor Hill and Mayowa Nicholas will walk the runway. Adriana Lima and Barbara Palvin also revealed in social media posts that they will be appearing.

After coming under fire for its lack of diversity, the series was canceled in 2019. In 2023, it returned as Tourneja, a non-traditional show that aired via stream and filmed in Barcelona, London, Tokyo, Lagos, Nigeria, and Bogota, Colombia. Hadid recounted the spectacle, which aired on Prime Video.
