A SEVEN-year-old boy and girl are among five children and an adult who were shot in a quiet Sheffield street – with five teenagers arrested.
An 11-year-old boy and two teenagers aged 13 and 15 were also injured in the horrific shooting that took place in broad daylight.

Emergency services rushed to the quiet street in Sheffield at around 2.23pm on Wednesday afternoon.
Four boys, a seven-year-old girl and a 62-year-old woman were all injured after being shot at with an air rifle.
Three children were rushed to the hospital to have the pellets removed from their bodies.
Five teenagers were arrested on suspicion of possessing a firearm and causing grievous bodily harm.
A 15-year-old girl, two boys aged 15 and 16 and two 18-year-olds were released on bail.
South Yorkshire Police said: “We are appealing for witnesses after six people, including five children, were injured.
“Unknown persons are reported to have fired an air rifle in Richmond Park Avenue, Sheffield.
“We responded to a report of a shooting on Wednesday at 2:23 p.m. in which six people were injured.
“In the reported shooting, four boys aged 7, 11, 13 and 15, a 7-year-old girl and a 62-year-old woman were injured.
“Three children needed hospital surgery to remove the particle from their bodies.
“Police officers went to the scene and arrested five people – a 15-year-old girl, two boys aged 15 and 16, and two 18-year-old men.
“All five were arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm and GBH.”
The spokesman added: “They have been released on bail pending further enquiries.
“A scene has been established at an address in Richmond Park Avenue and officers are investigating.
“We are now appealing for anyone who witnessed the alleged shooting or has information that could assist with inquiries to come forward.”
