Gisele Bündchen’s daughter is keeping a close eye on one item in the supermodel’s closet, and she’s likely to get it—in time.
Speaking to PEOPLE on Dec. 8 at an intimate event for IWC Schaffhausen during Art Basel Miami, Bündchen, a brand ambassador for the legendary Swiss watchmaker, shared that Vivian, 11, set her sights on her mom’s watches, namely the Ingenieur Automatic 40 model, which it costs $11,700.
Bündchen said she personally “loves” that particular watch right now. “It’s beautiful, it’s kind of sporty, and I’m very sporty. But it’s versatile.” And while Vivian isn’t allowed to borrow the accessory “yet,” the supermodel said with a laugh, “trust me, she’s eyeballing my watches, like, ‘Mom, I like that, are you going to give it to me, are you keeping it for me? ?’”

Fortunately for the youth, IWC’s designs are built to last. “That’s what I love about these, they can be passed down generations,” Bündchen says of the watches, adding, “When you have good quality things, they last forever.”
But additions aside, the newly minted Miami resident has a deeper understanding of the importance of watches. “Time management is the most important thing, because time is the most valuable currency we have,” she said.

Looking chic in a camel suit and bare heels, the mother-of-two – who also celebrated son Benjamin’s 14th birthday on the day of the event – sat down with a small group to discuss her career, parenting and more.

When the topic turned to art and expression, Bündchen explained that she loves fashion because “you can play different roles. You can be sassy, or some days you can be masculine. Some days you want people to notice you, and some days you’re like ‘please don’t watch’. Sometimes you want to be comfortable and sometimes you want to be fatal! There are different ways to express yourself.”

As for her personal style, the supermodel says, “Comfort comes first. Gone are the days when I can wear something uncomfortable. I wore those corseted dresses where you can’t breathe… I did that in my 20s and 30s, and it’s like I’m gone – I’ve paid my dues.”
Then, Bündchen shared her signature look that consists of two simple items, saying, “I am jeans. Jeans and a T-shirt – that’s my thing. I’ve been doing white t-shirt and jeans for 30 years. It’s just so comfortable and easy.”
