This post contains spoilers from the November 6 episode The Golden Bachelor.
The Mansion Men returned to tell all on Wednesday, November 6, for possibly the least dramatic Men Tell All in Bachelor Nation history.
After reflecting on the feud that ensued among Joan Vassos’ 24 suitors and reliving the iconic Chippendales date, Michael revealed just before arriving at The Golden Bachelorhe was diagnosed with cancer. But at the insistence of his children and with the approval of his doctor, the retired banking executive, 65, set about entering the show.
“What could have been a really bad, tough year was instead a great one because I built this incredible experience into it,” Michael said. “And I’ll be fine. He was caught early. And I just want to thank this great group of guys and I want to thank Joan because I’m really grateful for that experience. He came at the right time for me.”

CHARLES L. TAKES CONTROL
After Mark and Jonathan — who later revealed he met someone special — got into the hot seat with host Jesse Palmer, it was Charles L.’s turn. He first answered how it felt to become a “pop culture icon,” as Jesse, 46, put it.
“It’s a surprise. I am delighted,” said Charles L. (66).

Jesse also asked Charles L. how his hair went from gray to black. “I think it’s because of the food I ate when I was gone,” joked the retired financial analyst.
Charles L. also offered other revelations. “I’ve never been on TV at all before and Jesse, if you don’t mind, I didn’t even know your name very well,” he said. “Don’t be hard on me, you know.”
Jesse replied, “Just because you’re a celebrity now, I’ll let it slide.”

On a more serious note, Charles L. told Jesse that he felt ready to get back together.
“I was worried, I don’t know what my daughters would think of me dating again,” said Charles L.. “This is really, really [a] concern [for] I also wasn’t sure what my relatives would think of me because of my cultural background. But the support I got, the love I received from my daughter and my families and relatives, that worry disappeared. So I would take advantage of the world, my body is lighter than before and I hope, you know, that one day I will meet that lucky man.”
From the studio audience, a woman shouted to Charles L., “We think you should be our next Golden Bachelor!”
PASCAL BREAKS DOWN HIS WALLS
Before Pascal sat in the hot seat, the Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles sang the song Mansion Men written by Gil.
Then Pascal, 69, reflected on his choice to come out before heading to the Fantasy Suite with Joan. “I had to make a very difficult decision,” he said. “It felt like, with more time, I could have been there, but then I wasn’t.”
The salon owner added that he hoped he “didn’t hurt” Joan, 61. “It wasn’t my intention,” Pascal said. “And she’s a very wonderful woman and you know, now I look and see her saying that she’s not worth loving – she’s completely wrong. I think she is worthy of love, it’s just that I couldn’t give her what she was asking for at that moment. I was too careful.”

Pascal felt that his time with Joan helped him understand “where I am now.” “I’m ready to tear down my walls,” he said.
When Joan took the stage, Pascal told her, “You’re an amazing woman and I hope that with me gone, you’ve been able to find the right person for you.”
The mother of four admitted that she sees a future with Pascal. “I envisioned a life with you and I know that Tahitian tying ceremony was very uncomfortable for you, and I thought maybe we could have worked something out both ways at the Fantasy Suites, but you had already made up your mind. You were very kind and I only wish you the best. I want you to be happy.”
The Golden Bachelor Eliminations: Who else is competing for Joan Vassos’ heart, and who didn’t get the rose?
Joan told the rest of her exes that she wanted to “have a friendship” with all of them.
She also teased how her season ended with only Chock and Guy left in the running for her heart. “It was emotional and there were a lot of tears,” she said during Men Tell All. “But I will tell you that some of them are happy tears.”
