Dane Cook, comedian and actor, recently proposed to his girlfriend Kelsi Taylor. Cook proposed to Taylor on July 13 and told People that he was ready to pop the question and that everything, including the weather and the sunset, was perfect the night of the proposal. Cook went on to say that he proposed to the lady with whom he had some of the best experiences of his life. Taylor also chimed in, saying:
“My stomach flipped the moment he reached for his back pocket. I couldn’t have wished for a nicer setting. All I could think about was, ‘Wait, is this really happening now?’ Will he propose?’”
She continued, saying:
“I was also very concentrated on what he was saying because I was hastily trying to remember the phrases. I wanted to take them all because they were so wonderful.”
Cook said he had been planning the proposal for a long time and decided to do it during their visit to York Beach, Maine, a childhood favorite of his. After the proposal, Taylor hugged her mother and expressed her love for Cook. Dane said that he and Kelsi have big plans and want to start a family.
