LAURA Tobin was left stunned on today’s Good Morning Britain after Richard Madeley commented on her weight.
The show’s resident promoter and divisive Richard reunited after the holiday break, but it was a rather awkward reintroduction.

Veteran TV presenter Richard was once again compared to fictional radio star Alan Partridge as he singled out Laura’s looks.
The presenter told her live on the air: “You’ve gained a lot of weight with lack of exercise, haven’t you?… a joke”
Laura laughed nervously along with co-host Susanna Reid, who quickly intervened on her behalf, saying: “Well, you wouldn’t be the only one, Laura, because I ate for Britain.”
Laura explained that she might have had a few mince pies and later replied, “I’ll just have a long waddle around the studio later, Richard.”
He added, “We’re not going this morning, are we?”
Viewers didn’t miss it, with one writing on X: “Madeley /partridge is trying her hardest to upset Laura today.”
Another said: “Madeley is crazy!, ‘over x’, what a bump.”
A third said: “Richard literally has no tact because he was so rude to Laura and encouraged Lorraine to drink when she just said she was doing dry January, he really needs to go because he’s abusive.”
On her return, the meteorologist looked great in a tight green dress, and after the fashion show, she proudly modeled it on social media.
Laura welcomed the New Year with flutes of champagne as she partied with friends until the early hours. The celebration was accompanied by a delicious New Year’s lunch.
After Richard’s comments, she took to Instagram asking fans if she should have a chocolate or a banana.
Richard is not as active as Laura on social media, but he appeared in daughter Chloe’s posts over Christmas when the family went to the Ritz for Christmas.
Chloe reunited with estranged husband James Haskell on a date night, and their daughter Bodhi had a heartwarming meeting with Santa at the iconic venue’s restaurant.
