Good Morning Britain presenter announces long break from the show saying ‘I won’t be back for a while’

A GOOD Morning Britain presenter has announced he’s taking a long break from the show.

From Monday to Wednesday Good Morning Britain is hosted by Susanna Reid and a rotating roster of male presenters including Adil Ray, Richard Madeley and Ed Balls, with Ben Shephard taking over on Thursdays.

But Adil, 49, has revealed he won’t be on the show for a while.

Taking to social media, he said: “Back @gmb on Thursday and Friday this week from 6.

“Then not on for a while so don’t miss out. Roll up roll up! While stocks last! It’s a bargain!”

Many fans were sad to hear Adil will be taking a break, with one writing: “Wish you were on every day!”

Another said: “Breath of fresh air for Thursday and Friday.”

And a third added: “Love a bit of Adil in the morning!”

Susanna is currently on her summer break from the show and in her absence Kate Garraway, Ranvir Singh and Charlotte Hawkins have stepped up.

Last month Adil confirmed his hit ITV game show Lingo will return for a fourth series – with an exciting twist.

He said: “Exciting news. @itv have commissioned a fourth series of @lingotv_uk.

“This time we’re going to play winner stays on! To see if the contestants really are that good and to see if they can go home with some serious money!

“And if you can’t wait for that don’t worry brand new episodes of series 3 will be on the telly very soon!”
