Good Morning Britain viewers call for star to get more screen time

Good Morning Britain shakes up the newsroom! After welcoming back fan favorite Adil Ray last week, another star is back on the hit breakfast programme. Teaming up with Charlotte Hawkins to headline the show on Thursday and Friday, Rob Rinder is officially back on the scene, and fans couldn’t be happier.

Following his second appearance on the breakfast show this week, viewers have already taken to X, formerly known as Twitter, to demand more screen time for the British lawyer. “Rob Rinder should be on every day!!! Well done @GMB,” wrote one. “@GMB Rob Rinder needs to feature with Charlotte more often. Great team,” agreed another.

Rob was the first to join GMB as a guest-host back in November 2021, and became a regular host in 2022. However, the star of Judge Rinder has been absent from the series for some time and has not co-hosted the program since the beginning of this year. Going by the fan reaction, however, we wonder if he’ll get a regular spot again.

Fans were particularly drawn to the presenter’s blunt questioning, and praised Rob’s interview with the schools minister, Nick Gibb, on Friday. “@GMB Love Rob Rinder questioning the minister – he has no way we need more Rob Rinder,” tweeted a fan. “Please get Rob Rinder to keep holding these people accountable,” shared another.

Since returning to the show this week, Rob has received endless compliments and praise from fans. Retweeting the caption, which revealed how excited viewers are for him to be back, he replied: “Ah crap .. see you tomorrow @GMB.”

He also seems to share a sweet bond with his co-star, Charlotte Hawkins. Taking to Instagram, Charlotte posted a selfie behind the GMB news desk.

As she posed alongside Rob, the caption read: “Morning! I’m here with @RobbieRinder, join us on @GMB. We’re leading with the news that over 100 schools have been given classroom closures due to the risk of collapse from aerated concrete. We’ll be speaking to the Minister school @NickGibbUK. Except Good morning Britain, Rob is a regular on our screens thanks to his appearances on various shows including the BBC One documentary series, Great Hotels: Life Beyond the Lobby. The judge takes over from Giles Coren on the show, who previously co-hosted four seasons with chef Monica Galetti.

Various presenters were guests Good morning Britain during the past few weeks in the absence of Susanna Reid. The journalist, normally the presenter of the program from Monday to Thursday, has been away on her annual summer vacation since July 19, and will most likely return in September. Meanwhile, we loved seeing the likes of Rob and Adil back on our screens.
