At the end of the series – after the dramatic explosion at the end – Christian is trying to run away from the Mimic, and Hannah is determined to uncover a source in the police department who is leaking information to the crime family.
The second season begins with a determined Hannah, who is on a mission to take down Dubravka, the matriarch of the Mimica family, to protect Christian, who is hiding with Dubravka’s daughter, Bianca.

Discussing where Hannah is when we see her again in season two, Lesley explained that her character is in therapy following the traumatic events of the first series. “The first series showed her to be an imperfect mother and very good at her job,” she said. “In the end, she killed a young man and her son had to go into hiding, so there was a lot to deal with.
“Therapy was provided by the police department, so I can be sure that she is capable, competent and stable. However, her focus is on Christian and confining the Mimic.”
