Gordon Ramsay reflects on his “amazing” 2024!
The MasterChef The 58-year-old star posted a video on Instagram on Monday, December 30, celebrating the end of 2024 and giving a glimpse into her eventful year. Ramsay included a short clip of his injuries from an accident that occurred while he was cycling in Connecticut in June.
“What an amazing 2024! Have a very Happy New Year (and yes, the bruise is healed) Gx,” he captioned the video.

Ramsay’s footage of his bruise, which was deep purple and across the side of his stomach, was taken while the celebrity chef was cooking in the kitchen. Although he confirmed the bruise had healed, he revealed around the time of the accident that it “really shook him up”. He was admitted to hospital for treatment after “looking like a purple potato with bruises”.
“Honestly, I’m happy to be here,” Ramsay said at the time. “It hurts me. It was a brutal week,” he added. “And I kind of get through it. But I can’t tell you how important it is to wear a helmet.”

In addition to reflecting on the terrible accident, Ramsay celebrated his recovery and other exciting new endeavors. In the video, he documented spending time in the kitchen of his restaurants, which include Lucky Cat, Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips, Gordon Ramsay Burger, Street Pizza, Ramsay’s Kitchen and Hell’s Kitchen.
The TV personality also added a sweet snap with wife Tana and daughter Tilly, 23, at her graduation from Nottingham University, where she earned a degree in psychology.
